Attribution of this motet to Anchieta is not unanimously accepted (for instance, Eva Esteve Roldán, in an unpublished 2012 conference paper, considers that there is no evidence to support such an attribution). Anglés (MME 1, 1942) regards it as the secunda pars of Virgo et mater.
