- Ave clementissime domine Jesu Christe, fili dei vivi, rex aeternae gloriae, qui hora completorii in monte Olivarum sanguineo sudore sacratissimo e membris tuis in terram stillante patrem orasti dicens: pater mi, si possibile est, calix iste transeat a me, spiritus quidem promptus est, caro autem infirma, veruntamen fiat voluntas tua.
- Notes
This text is the first half of a very rare prayer appearing in F-Pn Lat. 18014 ('Petites Heures du Duc du Berry', late 14th century), f. 66v, as the prayer for Compline in the series of 'oroisons de la Passion [de] Nostre Seigneur Iésuchriste'.
