Notes

The version published in Eslava, for which no source is given, ends on b. 45 and is attributed to Melchor Robledo (c.1510-1586). It is currently impossible to ascertain the accuracy of such an authorship attribution. The piece, however, could have been easily composed in the 1530s given its stylistic profile. Nevertheless, in GroveMO it is said that this is one of Robledo's motets "similar in structure to, and of a quality comparable with, works of Victoria". In P-Cug MM 53, this motet, which is at the end of the volume, follows Anchieta's O bone Jesu.
